Transitioning U.S. Army Veteran with 9+ years of military experience, the last four of which involved the managing of IT projects and one year spent in support of Operation Resolute Support. I am seeking a position requiring the management of business accounts and increasing sales volume within the IT sector. Technical Point of Contact-

- Served as the representative of the U.S. government’s interests for any technical service provided by contractors.

- Contracting officer representative and overall rater for a DOD IT operations and maintenance contract.

- Ensure that 44 contract personnel work within the performance of work statement and meet contract guidelines

- Rate the monthly performance of civilian contractors within the specified area of operations

- Contracted job titles include: Systems administrators, Information Assurance analyst, Network administrators, fiber installation technicians, Helpdesk analysts, hardware installation technicians, Satellite Communications technicians, Power generation technicians and HVAC technicians.

 

CAAN OIC (Consolidated Automated Assistance Node, Officer in Charge)-

- As the primary interface, managed and foster relationships with the information management representatives of 33 units supported by my shop

- Manage the ongoing operations, maintenance, and engineering of centralized network infrastructure that supports 1426 customers in the Afghani Theater.

- Project manager over de-scope and re-alignment tasks focused towards replacing each device in the network and system infrastructure that was passed end of life cycle

- Manage installation projects that for adding network devices on to the existing network infrastructure

- Held property book responsibility for $15 million worth of strategic communications devices such as Cisco routers and switches, HVAC units and power distribution units

 

Helpdesk/DSST OIC (Direct Signal Support Team Officer in Charge)-

- Manned by 55 personnel, provided technical support for the 1426 customers as they carry out missions within the area of operation.

- Maintain a level of superior customer satisfaction, by personally visiting each of the units supported and engaging stakeholders to create enterprise wide solutions and maintaining a 90% ticket closure rate for 600 tickets/month.

-Divided the timeline into sprints to track the concurrent development of soldiers.
